Attendees will have a chance to interact with more than 20 employers from around the Tampa Bay area. The event is open to the public as well as SPC students and alumni.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Thursday, October 21, 1:00 \u2013 5:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/friends-partners\/about\/locations\/st-petersburg\/gibbs-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>St.&nbsp;Petersburg\/Gibbs Campus<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;\u2013 SS Lobby<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>FREE and open to the public<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employers will be recruiting for part-time, full-time, internships, volunteer and seasonal workers. Topics include r\u00e9sum\u00e9 review, mock interviews, setting a LinkedIn profile, and open hours to focus on all career-related topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To participate, make sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/stpe.co\/gethired2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>register online<\/strong> <\/a>and join virtually or visit one of the on-site workshops offered. Here are a few tips for a successful job fair and to establish employer connections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dress for success.<ul><li>When in doubt, dress conservatively.<\/li><li><strong>Suits:<\/strong> Wear a neutral color conservative pant or skirt suit.<\/li><li><strong>Shirts:&nbsp; <\/strong>Button-down shirt with a collar that is white or light colored and free of wrinkles.<\/li><li><strong>Ties: <\/strong>&nbsp;Keep it simple and complementary to your suit.<\/li><li><strong>Blouses<\/strong>: Stick to solid colors or simple patterns.<\/li><li><strong>Shoes: <\/strong>Avoid flashy\/bright colors.
