Stockwell, LLC<\/li>\n<li>Frank Crum Staffing<\/li>\n<li>Aerotek<\/li>\n<li>Select Staffing<\/li>\n<li>Link Staffing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students will have the opportunity to network and meet with representatives from some of the area\u2019s top recruitment agencies with open positions across various industries.<\/p>\n<p>To RSVP, contact <a href=\"mailto:LINCS@spcollege.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINCS@spcollege.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Come ready and prepared<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In order to make the best impression at our upcoming <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/go.spcollege.edu\/events\/?id=20864&amp;dt=2%2F21%2F2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Meet the Recruiters <\/strong><\/a><strong>event<\/strong> <strong>and to be as effective as possible, you need to get READY and come PREPARED.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have plenty of copies of your resume with you. You need to prepare more than one version if you are looking for more than one type of job.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare your Elevator Pitch (your 20-to-30 second commercial) and be prepared to talk about your experiences and skills.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare some smart questions in advance. This shows you are proactive and attentive.<\/li>\n<li>Dress for success! Conservative is always the best option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remember\u00a0these tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Watch your manners and mannerisms. Have a good handshake and remember to make eye contact.<\/li>\n<li>Be clear when you are\u00a0speaking and about what you want to convey.<\/li>\n<li>Even though a recruitment event is a great opportunity to network, it is not a social event. You\u2019re on a mission! Remember, you are being judged on your potential to fit a particular job function.<\/li>\n<li>If the event includes the opportunity to network, please do so! Recruitment agencies may point you in the direction you want to go or connect you to additional employers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At all times, remember that this is your chance to be evaluated on more than just your resume.
