SPC Vice President of Administration, Finance and Technology Brian Miles will soon embark on a new role as Vice President of Administration and Human Resources with the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.
Miles’ leadership has helped steer the college since he joined SPC in 2012 as Associate General Counsel. In this role, he advised college leaders on various legal and business matters. In 2014, Brian developed Leadership SPC, an intensive six-month internal leader development program. The inaugural class graduated in June 2015 and over the past five years, 120 current and emerging leaders have participated in this highly popular and successful program, which Miles facilitates each year. From September 2015 to June 2016, Miles held the position of Associate Vice President, Administrative Planning & Operations Support. In July 2016, he was promoted to the position of Vice President, where he currently serves and oversees budgeting, business and financial services, facilities, human resources, information technology, and security.
Miles’ last day at the college will be Friday, Feb. 14. The college will begin the process of a national search immediately on an accelerated timeline in order to fill the position as soon as possible.
