Project HEAL (Healthy Emotions and Lives) will be hosting a National Alliance on Mental Illness presentation titled Ending the Silence on the SPC Gibbs Campus on Oct. 24, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in SA114.
Ending the Silence is a 50-minute presentation that provides attendees with educational information about mental health and suicide. It includes resources and ideas about how individuals can help themselves, friends or family members who may need support. In addition, the presentation will include a a personal testimony from a young adult who is successfully living with a mental illness. Student Life and Leadership will be providing lunch to those who attend.
