Event Planning and Implementation team volunteers

On February 20, 2019, the Event Planning and Implementation Team participated in the African-American Read-In at Campbell Park Elementary School by volunteering as classroom readers. The team chose books from the media center and read to students in kindergarten through fourth grade classes.

The team shared stories and experiences with the students. Additionally, each student was presented with an SPC lunch bag.  The students were very inquisitive, and the faculty and staff genuinely welcoming. It was a joy to participate in this wonderful event.
