Starting Sunday, Mar. 10, 2019 the College will be making important infrastructure changes affecting PeopleSoft systems.
All PeopleSoft systems – Student, Human Resources, Finance and MySPC will be unavailable starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 until 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019. All the systems are projected to be back up and available at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 14.
Going forward, SPC will use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services to host the College’s PeopleSoft enterprise systems. Utilizing cloud-based infrastructure will improve the college’s flexibility to support fluctuating technology needs and avoid expensive hardware purchases. Additionally, the use of cloud-based services will enhance the College’s disaster/business recovery response capabilities including uninterrupted access to Student, Finance and HR-Payroll systems during and after a hurricane.
MyCourses and email will continue to be available during these changes.
If your password is set to expire during the PeopleSoft downtime window, please make sure to change it before 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
