SPC theater auditions schedule<\/h2>\n

Prepare for SPC theater auditions by reviewing the following information:<\/p>\n

<\/b>WHEN:<\/strong> Tues., Aug. 23 and Wed., Aug. 24<\/span><\/p>\n

TIME:<\/strong> 4:30 –\u00a0 6 p.m.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

WHERE:<\/strong> St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus, Arts Auditorium
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT:<\/strong> SPC theater auditions require that you prepare a 1-minute comic monologue. \u00a0 <\/span>Also cold readings from the script.<\/span><\/p>\n

Production summary and characters<\/h3>\n

Understanding the story line and characters will help you prepare for SPC theater auditions.<\/p>\n

PRODUCTION SYNOPSIS:<\/strong>\u00a0 Home-sweet-home turns into a haunted house for thirteen-year-old Chris when Carol, her stepmother from hell, moves in. Struggling with the recent death of her mother, Chris is convinced her father\u2019s new live-in fianc\u00e9e is evil, but she just can\u2019t persuade dad to her point of view. When a mysterious and potentially dangerous creature is found in the family\u2019s backyard, Chris assumes it\u2019s a sign from above to eliminate Carol once and for all. This imaginative, bone-chilling, and wildly funny play brings the notion of dysfunctional family drama to sensationally scary heights.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Carol:<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>Arthur\u2019s fianc\u00e9. \u00a0 <\/span>The perfect step-mom (or is she?)<\/span><\/p>\n

Hugo:<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>Teenager\u2014the boy next door.\u00a0 <\/span>In love with Chris.<\/span><\/p>\n
