How Poems Become Songs \u2013 Sun March 6, 3-5 pm

\nLearn about the close connection between poetry and songs through a discussion with poets, actors and songwriters. See a demonstration by professional actors of how different readings can change the meaning of a poem; and how instrumental and\/or vocal music can be added to a poem to transform it into a song, which again can color the meaning. Then, working with actors and songwriters, transform a poem into a song yourself!
