Want to understand the power of theater? \u00a0 <\/span>Come be a part of our fall production of THE AMISH\u00a0 <\/span>PROJECT which will audition this week on the Clearwater Campus. \u00a0 <\/span>This fictional account of the shooting of 10 Amish girls in their school house in Nickel-Mines Pennsylvania explores what happens to communities that go through these tragedies and how individuals can make a difference in helping heal with kindness, forgiveness and love.<\/span><\/p>\n

This play will be staged with the audience (70 per performance) sitting on stage with the actors and being immersed in the world of the play. \u00a0 <\/span>A great challenge for actors to perform for an audience up close, it will also bring a sense of community to the performances.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a cast of 12, there are many parts available and auditions are open to all SPC students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Auditions will be Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26 on the Clearwater Campus in room ES 104. \u00a0 <\/span>Please prepare a 1 minute dramatic monologue and be prepared to read from the script.<\/span><\/p>\n

Performances will be October 8-11 and 15-18.<\/span><\/p>\n
