{"id":13162,"date":"2023-07-24T11:59:34","date_gmt":"2023-07-24T15:59:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/arts-humanities-design-educational-information\/?p=13162"},"modified":"2023-07-24T11:59:37","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T15:59:37","slug":"spc-theater-department-production-macabaret","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/arts-humanities-design-educational-information\/spc-theater-department-production-macabaret\/","title":{"rendered":"SPC Theater Department Production: MACABARET"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall 2023:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MACABARET <\/strong>by Scott Keys and Rob Hartmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directed by Scott Cooper\/ Musical Direction by Juan Rodriguez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Synopsis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vaudeville\/ cabaret type show where monsters rise from the dead and perform songs.&nbsp;&nbsp; We will be doing this with the audience seated on stage (hopefully at tables) so we will turn the stage into a cabaret performance space.&nbsp;&nbsp; Seating probably 60 per night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IMPORTANT DATES:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Auditions: August 21-22 between 5:30-8pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rehearsals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start Tuesday August 29<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuesday\/ Thursdays from 5:30pm-8pm\/.
