ISPS will host its next iteration of education around the arts in a program titled \u201cThe Business of Art\u201d on October 12 from 6-7 p.m. at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In partnership with the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, arts leaders from different sectors of the community will speak about the business of art:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ken Hannon from the Dunedin Fine Arts Center<\/li><li>SPC\u2019s very own Christine Renc-Carter from the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art<\/li><li>Sharon Reid-Kane from The Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall and<\/li><li>Renowned local artist, Robert Stackhouse.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The program will touch upon many topics, including entrepreneurship and jobs as artists. How do you separate yourself from the starving artist stereotypes to run a successful operation? What are the burgeoning employment opportunities and trends in the arts workforce? Barbara Hubbard, SPC\u2019s Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts, will guide this in-depth conversation from her unique vantage point of the art industry and future artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ISPS is excited to host this program in the beautiful city of Tarpon Springs. We\u2019re proud to welcome you to the SPC Tarpon Springs Campus, where the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art Home sits.
