The play tells the story of newspaperman Joe Pulitzer and French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, who fight discrimination and indifference for a woman no one wanted: Lady Liberty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe story really revealed a lot to me and I felt like I needed to tell this story,\u201d said Indianos. \u201cMy grandparents were immigrants and they came through Ellis Island and saw the statue of Liberty &#8211; escaping the Greek genocide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the play and ticket information at <a href=\"http:\/\/tarponarts.org\/event\/libertaire-the-play\">tarponarts.org\/event\/libertaire-the-play<\/a>. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Florida and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. Early in her career she received a Mobil Corporation grant for the exploration of new materials. Over the past twenty eight- years her diverse and varied work has developed in this same spirit of exploration through a variety of themes and a wide scope of materials and technology. She has created large-scale projects in the public art arena. Many of these projects integrate writing components and unusual collaborative ventures.
